Tailwater Elevation Number

Has anyone else noticed that the elevation number for Taneycomo tailwater on the COE site doesn't really change when they are generating? This has been the case for the last few weeks, I think. I know that real time it doesn't make much of a difference, since the readings are delayed, but it was always good information to have, and the elevation numbers are always posted before the generation numbers are available, so you can tell when they have started or stopped. They must know the number is wrong - right?

I called it twice today- once about 4:30 - one unit at 704.5 and again about 10 pm no units at 703.1.

I haven't noticed any irregularity but I don't call it much... only when I'm not sure if they are running. Sometimes the water in front of our place is moving but no generation.

Are you listening to the second elevation? Sorry to ask a dumb question. The first one is Table Rock.

I'm talking about the website, not the phone number. The website elevation has been stuck on 701.xx ft, regardless of the generation. This is only happening at Taneycomo. All the other locations on the white river system still register elevation changes with flow changes. It's been going on for several weeks, I think, and must indicate that a sensor is broke or stuck? I'm sure they know they have a problem, or do they? Is there someone you can call?

I said it was a dumb question... sorry.

It's happened before. The local COE # is 417-334-4101 but I'm not sure if they are the ones to call. I'll do some research later today.
