Got in a couple hours fishing after work the other night. I was able to land 14 smallies in about 1.5 hours. They are definitely getting aggressive; I had several fish following the ones I hooked for awhile. Caught 5 fish in 5 casts! Nothing with any size though.....

The fish were there, I couldnt catch em. Blanked..

I did notice the water warmed up 5 degrees since sunday.

The bigguns should be up shallow pretty soon.

Caught 13 on the bitsy tube, 1 on sunfish colored wooly beaver tail. both on 1/4 oz jighead. 6lb test fluorocarbon tippet on power pro 8lb. Med light spinning rod. I'm guessing the water was right around 50, but didn't have a thermometer.

What was the temp?

57 degrees, yesterday afternoon

there was some good runoff after the storm that warmed it up.

I'm using the meat thermometer trick.

I forgot who mentioned it, but it works well.
