Terry Beeson Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 OK... I'm in... I'll show you how NOT to tie a midge.... TIGHT LINES, YA'LL  "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Micheal Kyle Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 motroutbum, Why don't you run the show this time since all you do is hang out in a fly shop in Durango. We all know that people that run or hang out in fly shops have all the time in the world. (LOL).. I would love to host it but the next month I think I am only in town for about 1 week total. It's that time of the year when my Knight and Hale prostaff starts to make me work. I will tell you right now that I will tie a mylar bunny zonker. I have used it for years at Taney and it works great. The great thing about this fly is that it will work on White Bass and Stripers. It seems to be a great all around baitfish patteren. Members MoTex Posted September 17, 2006 Members Posted September 17, 2006 Count me in, although I must say that my fly tying skills are limited.
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Thanks motroutbum for hosting this swap. Put me down for the Serendipity. I've never tied this one but have wanted to for some time. It just looks like a great midge pupae fly designed to imitate the transition between the pupae and the adult.
