Wayne SW/MO Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Not anything recent, but I've fished it hundreds of times. I lived on it a couple of years when I was in my early teens and hunted coons and fished it for years in later years. It may have changed, but I never caught any decent LM that far north. I would think it is someones backyard now. There were some decent fish and good holes in the Drexel area though. We always did better on the Blue then, but it was also out of town past 103rd then. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
drew03cmc Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 The Blue is where Indian goes, and my plan is to maybe fish them both since they are within a few miles of each other. Hopefully I can get into at least a couple fish. Maybe I can hit some of the deeper holes. Upper Indian is small water. I know on the Little Blue around Longview Lake, I have caught some nice largemouth on UL gear back when I was in high school. Andy
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Upper Indian is small water. It's all small water really, but it had some decent holes in it. If it were me I would be looking for places on the Big Blue out south. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
drew03cmc Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 Yeah, the Blue has no access until you get into Missouri and that might be the best bet right now. Andy
