I took a break from not catching anything to look for fish.

Well, I found them but couldnt catch em.

Man, I love these new hummingbirds..

Lots of standing timber, loose schools of crappie/catfish/bass, and a couple nice bait balls.

Good eye candy, thats for sure.

Everything was 20-30ft deep, I didnt see anything shallower than 15ft..

The water was greenish clear for that lake,

Right off, there was a 12-15" gizzard shad washed up on the boatramp.

Maybe the victim of a blue heron.

Far as I know, this lakes got white bass, crappie, largemouth, catfish, bream, threadfin and gizzard shad.

The shcools of crappie or whites are packed in the tops of that standing timber.

I fished that lake 15 years ago with my dad, we caught a few bass that day. It was in May as I recall and the crappie fishermen were out in force, you could have almost walked across that lake jumping from boat to boat there were so many out there that day. Nice looking lake, lots of timber.
