St. Croix Travel Spinning Rod - Two Thumbs Up

I was looking for a good backpack rod, but didn't want to spend the big money (at least for me). However, after not being able to find something that I thought would work, I purchased the St. Croix Travel Spinning Rod (with case). I took it out on Little Piney, with a micro reel and PowerPro Braided Spectra. Simply put, WOW what a nice casting rod. I was casting flies and a single BB weight 20 to 25 yards. If you are looking for a good backpack rod, this one is off to a great start.
