i have been hearing reports of people catching crappie on the banks already has anyone else heard this i know it is early but water is warm

Yes Josh they are up around sparrowfoot. I was below the otters yesterday bass fishinf and the water temp was 62.5 and there was a few being cuaght off the banks mostly males. Shouldn't be long if the floods dont destroy it up there.

most of the females are still schooled up in the creek channels....at least for me.caught them spider rigging/drift fishing

RR how far up the Grand did you go i know alot of fish are in 10 fow 8 foot down is that about what you did? good to hear from you

i wasn't far from bucksaw.i heard they were tearing them up at otter.i was fishing 10 ft down in 12 to 20 ft.

how did you do on the bass up there?i've caught a few lower lake.

i'm looking forward to this weekend.....let's see how it changes.

Yes we were in sand branch and they were tearing them up in there all the way in the back about 3 foot deep in 6 feet of water. we didnt do that good on the bass up there but like u said on the lower end i am catching them still gues i know where i will be this weekend. Hope u do well crappie fishing. The lake has already came up a foot and a half hope it doesnt muddy it up to much for u up there will try and check friday if i have time and let u know

Talked to eric at bucksaw said the water still looked good down there was still on a hard rise though looked like they were going to start crankin some water out of it though. I wm not available to go till saturday so good luck friday
