FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE LAUNCH AT OLD STATE PARK RAMP ABOUT 10AM...

THERE WAS SIX (6) PARKING SPOTS WITH BROKEN WINDOW GLASS IN THEM !!!!!!!!!!

I DON’T KNOW HOW LONG THEY HAD BEEN THERE BUT, IT WA LESS THAN 12 HOURS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seen a DNR truck leaving the parking lot as we pulled in......

Fishing report—Fished main lake and secondary points on the west side from Hawker point to half way to Orleans Trail... we caught 13 Smallmouth- 3 over 15” , 2 largemouth-both over 15” and 4 Kentucky’s-all 13-14”; in a total of 2.5 hours (all catch and release).. We wanted to stay longer but, I would have needed 3 more sets of trolling motor batteries ......

Kentucky’s came on 3” swimbait (shad ).... Largemouth came on “red-eyed” shad and the Smallmouth came on the 3” swimbait (shad) and a 4” lizard (watermelon with chart use claws)...

I thought about that when I left my truck at Greenfield Access last night... 3 trucks left in the lot when we returned real late. Perfect place for vandals, dark and secluded. I left a fly rod and reel in the back seat plain site... regretted it after on the river. No issues though.

I was amazed how many blacks I caught on a chartreuse swimming minnow yesterday. The bass were RIGHT on the banks. I'd hit a rock, drop in and have a fish. Several 16-18 inch blacks. Wasn't targeting blacks either.

be sure to report anything, even if your truck hasnt been broke into.if you get back to the ramp or show up to the ramp and there are trucks with smashed windows call the county and let them know the more calls the county offices get the better the patrol will be!

Well, i was one of the six victims. It happened Saturday sometime between 9 am and 1:30 pm. Someone had already called it in so I got to talk to a nice Sheriff Deputy. Every car in the lot got hit. I am out a GPS, some small change, and a window. At this point, I am hoping Karma settles the score. I had a good morning fishing, especially when I found a cove with 58-59 degree water and proceeded to reel in keeper bass until I got tired of fighting the wind to keep the boat in position and land fish at the same time. I could rant on the break ins but I am not going to let pondscum thieves get me down. Most of the human race are pretty good folks, especially the ones that fish.
