Thanks for the info guys. When I first read something about them opening the flood gates I said ah hell there goes the fishing. Then it occurred to me it might mean a flood, now it sounds like it might help the fishing if it even happens. Either way we will be there trying to figure something out. Thanks to all the post on here I have a lot of new plans although my plans for fishing never seem to work. Always seems like the fish have different plans. Thanks for the info we will try to stop by the shop when we are down there. Although it is hard to leave home right now the warm weather up here in Iowa has our big bass going crazy, had a great day on the water Sunday catching big fish all day.

Steven you'll just have to wait and see what evolves, but you'll be able to fish and the potential will be good.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I just hope this isn't the beginning of another heavy rain and high water season like last year, where it was almost summer before the lake levels got down far enough for long periods of no-generation. As a no-boat, wading fisherman, I'm pretty much at the mercy of the generation skeds.

I have a friend, a Jewish carpenter, whom you should get to know. If you do, your life will never be the same.

Does anyone think they'll shut the water off tomorrow night at all. Contemplating taking a trip down to wade fish tomorrow night and friday. It looks like there's at least a 50 percent chance I won't get soaked or struck by lightning.
