hey everyone. new on here and enjoy the reports. we fished cedar ridge sat. was very suprised how clear the water was after the rain. but the crappie took the day off. we fished most of the day and only had one nice crappie and one dink bass. but i was told sunday about some guys who fished sat. night with lights and brought home 40 keepers and was going back sun. night. look forward to chatting with some of you.

Hey man, welcome! I'm glad you're posting :have-a-nice-day: I aways wonder why some posts get read by over 500 different people and yet there doesn't seem to be nearly that many submitters... Think of all the knowledge we can share! "well I don't want everybody else catching MY fish..." Come on folks! We're not that good... I've fished over lights many times but I remember only doing it in the summer. Sure otta work..The water 2 miles toward High Point was much more colored and 2 miles more toward Aldrich it was almost muddy. Good Luck and keep sharing!

Thanks for the posts! I am (was) planning on fishing for crappie on Sat but now I'm thinking I need to head for clearer water by high point or cedar ridge? What do you think? Also, I can't find either of these places on google maps how can I find them?

Thanks for the map link! That is great - now I can know where all you good ole boys are talking about! Thanks! I'm headed up to Aldrich on Friday then probably to High Point on Sat. I'll keep everyone posted!
