Was a really windy and crazy night there for a while then everything got really calm. We fished with a lantern off the edge off different dock sides all night with a minnow ( 1 caught on black/green jig) about 6-8 feet and ended up with 6 keeper crappie (most 11 inches). The hits were extra light, Im guessin they were nipping at the minnows where they were holding. I recommend the lightest tackle you have. Also went a couple nights before and got skunked but the boys ended up with 9 keeper crappie and a 15.5 inch walleye. The fishing is not bad at Stockton, its very beginner-intermediate fisherman friendly. Its nice to be able to get into some fish without a boat too! Headed down tomorrow gonna go to Aldridge and High Point to see what me and a buddy can pull out. Fish on.

Its just a waiting game, minnows seem to be consistant and the two goldfish we got mixed in were really gettin the hits. Something big ran with my buddys line im thinkin it was a big walleye on that golfish but it hung him up around the dock or somewhere near the bottom.
