DaddyO Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Nothing to see here, people. Move along. Move along, now. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
JCWolfe Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 They're slowing down the cfs water release. It was in the 3900cfs range when I checked it earlier. And I was thinking at the rate they were releasing maybe there would be wadable water within a week. Let down again. Okiemountaineer
DaddyO Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 You're mean... Wasn't intentional. With all the high water we've been having, this area wasn't seeing much activity. So, I just had to put something in here. Your post made me laugh, though. However, I just noticed that if the generation pattern stays consistent, we should be seeing some wade-able water in about 5 days! BFTMASTER Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 HAS ANYONE HAD A LOOK TO SEE WHAT THE WATER CLARITY IS LIKE? IF IT IS CLEAR, I CAN STILL GET EM.

I'm thinking no on the 5 days if they're wanting to get it to 632. Maybe we will get lucky and they will shut it down before 632 but I doubt it. Okiemountaineer
Members Tbcmusiconline Posted April 19, 2012 Members Posted April 19, 2012 No generation on the schedule for tomorrow. Headed down to the Watts area. I will send a report tomorrow night.
Members Tbcmusiconline Posted April 20, 2012 Members Posted April 20, 2012 Fishing report for Thursday, April 19. Arrived at 7:00am at Watts. Hiked down below the storm gage and Caught the first fish within minutes. Ended the day with close to 100 fish. It was like a feeding frenzy at times. I tied on a Size 14 BH Copper John under a strike indicator to start with and fished it for the first four hours. I caught over 20 fish in less than 30 minutes on the same fly at one point. I switched to a Size 14 BH Brown Pheasant Tail after lunch and continued to catch fish til 3:00 pm when I gave up. Planning to go back on Saturday if they are not generating.
JCWolfe Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Only a couple of people around where I fished, had my best day ever today. Okiemountaineer
