Richland Creek

I am camping at Tyler's Bend the second week of May and we have wade fish parts of Crooked Creek in the past but I have been reading some about Richland Creek. They say it is not real floatable but is a good smallmouth stream, wade fishing. Can anyone give me some tips on access points and what to expect. Can you wade accross at Woolum and then just go up stream from there. I have read there are several good long pool and that there are lots of boulder to fish around. Not sure if this is what we will do but looking for ideas of places we have never been to that would be close by.
