White Bass

I haven't seen or heard of any white bass reports. Usually the Whites run up the Kings or Roaring River. Is the run over? Or just beginning?

Anyone seen any quantity of these fish? I'm on vacation next week and was hoping to get into some quantity of fish.

I might be wrong but thing they are done already. Sure there are a few here and there but was a real bad year for the white spawn run.

Had a guy tell me yesterday there are lots of them above the 86 bridge up roaring river. Lots of folks are catching them up there and also snagging suckers. I really believe you could troll for them in and around roaring river. Early and Late. May not tear them up, but believe you can catch a few scragglers and some that have returned to the lake

Any idea what they were catching them on Bill? We have been fishing off the bank towards the water fall at roaring river for the past 3 weekends and only catching a few whites here and there. Had not made it up to the bridge yet.

Has anyone else caught or heard of someone catching some whites above the bridge at roaring river? I was thinking about going down this weekend to try to catch some whites off the bank.

I would try some little blue back or black back rebels. Almost always good.
