Any Report Up Shallow?

Read some of the posts about cooler water and fish yet to spawn. With that said, has anyone caught any shallow soaking a senko?

Lots of brown fish shallow. 3-6'. Using 1/16oz head and 1/2 Senko. Aka Ned Rig.

I haven't thrown a senko but there are plenty of fish up shallow

The Ned rig is basically a 1/16 oz. Ball head or mushroom head jig rigged with half of a senko style bait. Ned Kehde of Lawrence, Kansas is who has written about it, thus the name Ned rig.

Last weekend my brother and I cought a good 40 fish shallow, mostly males.

Good whacky bite today. 3-6' on Senkos. 10 keepers on it today plus 1 n shskry head early. Had lots of trouble getting fish hooked on senko. Lost many of all sizes. Mostly brown fish and LM. Mix of pre and post. This was shallow water near main lake...cuts and pockets close to channel.
