Turkey? I guess so. If this is for the hunting forum, I would think Turkey would deserve a "special" place, though...

Pheasant

Hungarian partridge

Chukar

Ruffed Grouse

Spruce Grouse

Sage Grouse

Bobwhite Quail

California Quail

Mountain Quail

Mourning Dove

Scaled Quail

Woodcock

All upland game birds...

According to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife website, by adding pheasant to your list, you'll have included all birds they consider to be non-migratory "upland" game birds.

Here's their "upland" list of webless migratory game birds for Oklahoma. (Mourning, White-winged and Eurasian Collared Doves, Sandhill Crane, Sora and Virginia Rail, Purple Gallinule and Common Moorhen, Woodcock, Common Snipe).

For Kansas you might want to add Prarie Chicken.

I would rather be fishin'.

I agree with that, I think they have evolved on to a level with deer.

My own thinking would be that the listing would probably be

Turkey

Quail

Pheasant

Other Upland Birds

Ducks and Geese

Other Migratory birds
