Nortrad Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Nice, looks like you guys had an uncrowded camp spot. Nice browns...
Buzz Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Looks like a great weekend. Thanks for sharing. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
OKFlyFisher44 Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Check out the blog post for the trip! http://okietroutbum.blogspot.com/2012/04/traditions.html?m=1 Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
Nortrad Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Nice blog entry, more rainbow pictures. Not sure on the articulated streamer hook up...Wise or others might be able to shed light. It happened to me one AM on the Current, hooked up several nice browns, all lost by not getting the hook up to hold, mostly Circus Peanuts and Z. Cougars. Fun, but very frustrating. The big brown from March was on a smaller articulated, small #4 stinger in front, 3X long #6 in back, much smaller than the ones I'm saving for the N. Fork. I'm leaning toward another streamer for the Current, which shall remain unnamed at this point.
OKFlyFisher44 Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 Jim....don't be holding out on me now!! Yeah I was throwing a #6 black circus peanut, I normally throw a #2 articulated streamer on the NFOW and the White. Sometimes even throw a 1/0 on the White. Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
