Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 25, 2012 Root Admin Posted April 25, 2012 Tim Homesley called in his fishing report for Roaring River State Park today. Sounds like it's the perfect time to head to the park to go trout fishing! http://www.ozarkanglers.com/roaring-river/2012/04/25/tims-fishing-report-april-25/
timsfly Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Dry fly fishing is great right now, #16 and #18 B.W.O's are great right now, I had a blast today fishing dries. Now is the time to come and play, the weather is great the kids are still in school and the park is not crowded at all right now, I am going to fish that trico hatch in the morning with a 1wt bamboo that Gordon built for me, should be a great little rod for 24's and 26's and 8X tippet. Members Chase Replogle Posted May 4, 2012 Members Posted May 4, 2012 Tim, Thanks for the information, I'm planning on stopping by RR this weekend, probably Sunday. Glad to hear the dry fly fishing is going well. Looks like I'll be tying up some BWO's tonight. Any other recommendations for drys. Thanks for the input. Chase Replogle
