I had no idea up until this past Saturday that he died on April 6th when his plane crashed. He was a good guy and I really enjoyed his show.

Wow, sad news.

I always like the shows that don't just spend the whole time catching fish. He would talk about casting and fly selection as well as the fish he was after and even talk to the locals (much like river monsters, without as much dramatization).

I will surely miss that show.
