johndarin Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 It was a great afternoon for brown fishing. At about 2pm the Corps kicked on 1 generator which is perfect for throwing Rapala's. I used a size 8 Rapala X-Rap gold i color. The browns love this thing. The flashing and suspending action of the lure is amazing. It dives about 3 feet below the surface perfect for 1 geneator. The weather was great for this too. When I got out there the clouds came over and a little wind kicked up making it a perfect time for this. I fished the area around fall creek from the chunk rock down to the Fall Creek dock. I also fished the bluff in front of Lilley's Landing and caught fish in both areas.
