emjay Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Got into some good topwater action while the COE ran good amounts of water. Caught good amount of hybrids in the 16-18" range with whites mixed in and even some bass. Lots of fun. Seen some 5-7lbers come out too. The water is murky so throw chrome or chartreuse topwaters. If the carps come in the bunches to play, go to the opposite side to fish. Water level is higher and is covering the rocks on the east side. Fish by the fence on the east side or by the cement runoff area on the west side. I didnt pay attention to the crappie fishermen but the crappie I seen come out where not keeper size. A few guys with nice cats on their lines also.
