Anyone Been Out This Week?

Was on a solid Hybrid/White/Occasional striper bite around RB about a week and a half ago in the AM around RB- mainly top water. Anyone been in that area and seen any surface activity? Trying to plan where I am going to throw my swim baits tomorrow PM! Any report would be helpful...

I was out today, but I only fish for black bass, at least on purpose. Did okay today. Was out from about 6-11am in the Praririe Creek area. 8 bass, 3 over 2lbs (2 of which were hard fighting smallies). C-rigs, popr's, drop shot were the main baits, but I caught one on a McStick, too.

Water is clearing up, finally. After like a year! I did see a fair amount of surface activity in the Avoca and PC coves.

I'm going to be heading down to Beaver on June 1st for a few days of Striper fishing with my son and would absolutely love any and all advice you old hands could give me. This will be my third year in a row chasing Beaver Lake Striper. I say chasing, because I've not been very successful. In fact, I've not caught a single Striper!! I've even installed two down riggers in my bass boat for trolling and still no success. I've been researching everything I can find on this site and others in order to improve my chances at nailing one of these beautiful fish. Can anyone tell me what part of the lake I should be concentrating on in early June? Are these fish going to be in the mid lake area or down by the dam? Should I scrap the down rigger's and just go with live Shad on a balloon rig? Just looking for any and all advice....would really like to catch one of these monsters...

Thanks
