Tough Day

Made 4 stops today. Came up with 10 keeper crappie with no real pattern. Water temps were from 75 to 77. Late this afternoon did manage to get a small channel and a big male channel that weighted in at 8.7 lb. That was not only a good fight but also a pealed thumb!! lol

Heading down late tomorrow afternoon to try a little night fishing for eyes and crappie. Cant decide whether to go to Ruark or up by Orleans. I assume you were drowning minnows?

Yep, minnows. with all the water skiers and personal water craft it probably won't matter where you go. lol I probably would do Ruark and head south into the timber areas like Birch Branch. Hard to water ski in timber. lol
