Meeting/tourney

If we are to have a tourney it would probably have to be some weekend in July. We can set up another meeting before hand with more details and paperwork needed to be done ASAP some weeknight or weekend in june when we can all get together, If we meet again i liked the South Pavillion/picnic area we used this last time at the State Park area and i will have signs. My best time for this second meeting is for Friday June 8th in the evening around 6ish

I can print and we can fill the regatta papers out during the meeting.

TO have a Tourney we will need to at least have a for sure Minumim of 10 boaters to make it worth while. to all that are still interested as well as any others just post to this forum topic and i will keep note.

THis last time we had five guys show up.

I'm definitely up for the tourney thing. What we may have to end up doing is just settng a date to fish, and whoever shows up can fish together. It may end up being too much of a hasle getting enough people to commit. That is the experience I have had with trying to put fundraiser tourneys together for our turkey chapter.

You could just set a time and ramp to meet, and pair people up then if you had to. Just another idea.

Im in with the tourney. Lets just set a date, time, ramp and what we are fishing for and the rules and go from there. Set a sign in for boaters and not boaters on the form to pair up. Or if u will have a fishing buddy?.?. Thanks justin

Count me in with a boat (except for the week of June 11) I'm game for however we need to do it. Once again I will say though as far as a meeting it needs to be at a more convenient time for those of us who work. I don't know if the majority of people live around Springfield but if so it would be better to have it near town of an evening. Your Friday night idea isn't bad but for me I would not get off work in time to drive that far for the meeting. Just my input.

we can all try to meet at BPS on June 8th at round 8pm for the local guys. I will Scrap the other meeting and justt set a time and Date that will hopefully work for our fishing gathering.

I should be able to make that meeting. thanks. Another thought . Maybe not have an offical tourney that we have to get approval for this first time. But maybe just have a get together tourney and throw a little gas money in the pot just among friends. Then maybe we can start an OAF club and build from there.
