Don Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 This one would have definately been up on OzarkSportsTalk.Com if it were running. Anyway, there were not alot of expectations of the Cards since they hobbled themselves into the playoffs. The have pitching now? Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Kicknbass Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I hope they pull off a win Saturday to enable them to rest and realine the pitching rotation to allow Carpenter to start the first game of the next series.. " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"
Don Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 Same here Kickn, Sup is good at home but the Pads starter wins alot on the road. So far I've been impressed with the formerly vulnerable bullpen, especially Tyler Johnson's and Adam Wainright's finishes the last two games. I hope it builds their confidence. Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 6, 2006 Root Admin Posted October 6, 2006 Something else... I can't imagine they go too far but the Mets don't look that great. We may limp into the series and limp into a title. Who knows.
Rusty Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Pulling the post. Don't want to jinx them. Oh baby...
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 20, 2006 Root Admin Posted October 20, 2006 Guess you didn't jinx them!
Don Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 No Jinx, I bleed red and blue. I hear Detroit is nice this time of year. Hats off to the Mets, a decent team this year. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Danoinark Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 YeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Rusty Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 You could not have asked for a better game. A Robbed homerun, a ninth inning that will go down in the books of history. What a way to finish a ninth inning.
mcp633 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I have no fingernails left!!!! Wainright's hook is amazing. How 'bout Yaddy. I'm estatic. However, the 'Birds need to find their bats to have a chance against Detroit's rotation. If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them
