Put in at Roark Bluff about 8:00am and fished till 4:00, spent the whole day in Sons Creek. Nothing real exciting to report. Caught a number of small bass on the flats that were chasing shad on a small chart/blue crankbait and a small Kastmaster. Also caught a number of small bass on the bluff banks on jigs and senkos. Moved to the back of Greaser and caught my only keepers flipping timber on the channel swing banks, also caught one keeper walleye on the small crankbait. Didn't have much wind up in the river and only saw one other boat out. Headed up again on Friday!

Thanks for the report. If you could report again on your Friday trip I would appreciate it. I haven't neen fishing that portion of the lake but have been wanting to go there. I probably won't get to go until Saturday night. These fishing reports help keep a guy from having a "Dud" trip and blowing $40.00 worth of gas.

Walcrabass, I spend a bunch of time up Sons but there is no way I would head up there after dark, way too many hazards to hit and tear up a boat. If you get a day off in the middle of the week let me know and maybe we can head up there together?? Todd

btlfs2 short,

Thanks for the invite but weekdays for me are almost NEVER!!!! I night fish up Son's creek quite a bit. Just have to go slow and know your way around. The hard right turn that heads you towards 39 Hwy has a killer timber and big rock bank on the South side. I have caught a ton of Bass there on Worms and Jigs. I'll watch for your report.
