Fished out of Mutton Creek today and had a BEAUTIFUL day! What great weather; cool, cloudy most of the day, and light wind. But the biggest bonus was the fish were biting, all of them. Ended up with 3 walleye, one white bass, 15 large mouth, and a dozen beautiful crappie. Cleaned the white bass, 6 of the crappie, and one of the walleyes. seems where ever we stopped we caught fish. We ended the day on a brush pile by Mutton Creek in 22' of water and there were a number of 12 to 14 inch crappie right on top of the brush. We also got within 30 feet of an immature bald eagle and had a spotted fawn almost swim right up to the boat before heading back to shore. All in all one of the nicest days on the water, hope you got out today!!

Great report...

Stockton has a lot of wild life for the one that looks at something other than the end of their fishing rod.........

I seen him around the cove from Hawkers Point last Spring. I bet you he was 30 lbs. I took pics but they did not turn out they were on my phone. He was a fishing machine!

We had a crappie tournament a few years ago out of Ruark Bluff. There were about 25 boats waiting to head out and an otter was going boat to boat. He would swim up to the side of each boat and peek over the edge like he was giving us a boat inspection. We wondered if he was working for the Water Patrol. Probably looking for a free meal.

I have a lease up Sons Creek. I had a whole family of otters on one of my trail cameras a few months ago.
