Caught my first striper the other evening and wasn't even fishing for them. Was using a marabou jig and he nailed it. Quite a fight on 2 lb. line and an ultralight rig! He weighed 6 lbs. Had one other on, roughly the same size, but the hook pulled out before I got him in. Caught several trout also, but this thing made my evening.

P.S. - Just wondering also if anyone has heard any info on the water problem lately? I hope they get things worked out and our summer isn't ruined if the lack of rain keeps up. I just began fishing here this year. Lived within 15 miles for a long long time and never tried it until this year. I've just always fished Missouri. Been having a blast close to home now, though! Good luck to all.

Wayne, I caught the fish below Tenkiller Dam near the park.

Nice Striper!

Were you referring to the "park" as the RV/Resort park at MarVal, the access at Watts, or somewhere else.

Just Curious.

Looks like the long hole below the cable at the dam.

The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing.

Hopper????? I thought we'd lost you. :) Nice to see you posting on the board again.

The first park to your right as you are heading down the Dam turnoff.
