Members booger90 Posted June 14, 2012 Members Posted June 14, 2012 I was wondering if anybody close to ozark and springfield would tie flies for me, i would but i can't tie an egg pattern at all. I will provide the supplies.
DaddyO Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 It would probably be cheaper just to buy them if you aren't going to tie them yourself. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Members booger90 Posted June 15, 2012 Author Members Posted June 15, 2012 I know but its just that i can't find some colors that i want to use for egg patterns
Nick Williams Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Just go to a craft store like Hobby Lobby and go find the Pompoms back by the rest of the "tying material" there. At our local one it is by the feathers and foam! But you can get an assortment of eggy colors for like $2. Slip it onto the hook, add some super glue and you're ready to go! - Nick
tippett7 Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Go down to fly recipes, and Jeremy Hunt shows the easiest way to get a good egg every time.
