First time back at stockton in a while at the aldrich area, wow has the water went down. The road that yielded so many crappie during the spawn is now dry and driveable. I knew it would be a tough day, blue bird sky and the low water doesnt yield many fish from the bank. My mom caught a medium size Gill (finally got her out there!). Threw everything I had for em today, strike king sinko style, purple spook, tomato core jigs, tequila sunrise ribbontail, pumpkinseed trickworms...nothing. Maybe next time.
