Brian Wise Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Fishing this spring was a lot different than the last several we have had. Like so much of the state (and Northern Arkansas) we were REALLY dry this Spring which equals lower than usual water, and only a few days where we had what we would call "stupid" numbers of fish. The Whites were up and down locally, and Justin and myself never really spanked them either (that is kind of the "last hoorah" for Justin and I before his canoe season and my guiding season go crazy so we tend to fish together quite a bit). But with some really cool people, some crazy incidents, and what I am calling the greatest sunrise timelapse ever caught on film (ok, so probably not but it was AWESOME) I give you......the Spring 2012 Video. I hope you enjoy. My Youtube Channel

Brian Wise Posted June 26, 2012 Author Posted June 26, 2012 Very nice, one of my fave White Stripes tracks, and, nice ink...ouch! DIG the White Stripes. The tattoo.....yeah, ouch. It was 6 1/2 hours to finish. I didn't realize how big it was until the artist says "About half-way done" at the 3 hour mark. Nice work. Landing that nice rainbow despite reel fail was sweet. Stupid reel. It ended up completely biting the dust a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it. I 'do' need to give some video credit to Justin Spencer (turns out he can "camera" pretty well with a DSLR) and my wife (who should probably be in FRONT of the camera instead of behind it) My Youtube Channel
mic Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 ... and my wife (who should probably be in FRONT of the camera instead of behind it) I'm glad you said it, I didn't have the balls
XP 590 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 LOW WATER?!? What planet are you on? When Dad and I were there at the end of March we fished at 1400 CFS! Of course that was two weeks after the ONLY good storm in March. We really had a blast and are planning on seeing you again this fall or next spring for sure. Since it was our first time there, we don't have much to compare it to, but we thought we had stupid #s that day. When you start out catching two at the falls on the first and second cast, we figured we were off to a good start, but with my "face made for radio", wish you had gotten the old man in the video Dave
