It may almost be blasphemous to say this on these forums, but I think I had as much fun snapping photos last week during my Taneycomo trip as I did fishing.

I wish I could say the same. Every time I bring my camera, it usually stays in the pack. What camera were you shooting with?

Nice stuff. And, there's nothing wrong with taking photos. I like it too, and need to concentrate on doing it more.

I use a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. Most of these were with the stock lens (18-55 mm), with the exception of the doe / fawn photo (taken with a 55-250 mm zoom).

Best part of the doe / fawn pic was that my 7 year old daughter was with me that morning. She was VERY excited to see them, and I sure wish I'd have been ready to catch her reaction on camera!

When the fish aren't biting & napping in the baot isnt practical- I'd photo too !

The Doe & Fawn ? That was an amazing opportunity !!! Very nice.
