Wayne SW/MO Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Bill I suspect that someone involved in the rules had a safety issue. Maybe a move to establish a zone for kayak, canoes and inflatables would get some attention. Maybe east of the railroad bridge. I was told it was a sanitation issue at Fellows because it was a drinking water lake. I've heard that too, but it doesn't fit the regulations. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members AmericanAngler Posted June 28, 2012 Members Posted June 28, 2012 My old friend from the Security company said back when they patrolled no float tubes but things change so I'm not sure. My fishing buddy has been doing it near JC Access for the last two years and has had no trouble from anyone so it's all good. I just don't think you can do it near the main body of the lake. "Let me fish or else"
Kee sims Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 Awesome I'm gonna go out there!! If get in trouble I'll let you guys know!! Lol ill be guinea pig
crappie_adams83 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 thats a good idea to float tube fish springfield lake but me personally i go up to the sunshine bridge or the 125 bridge and go up river and have caught a couple of decent bass up there and a crappie or two if every body had a pole and a fish on the line there would never be a war
Hunter91 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Were you out today Kee? I saw someone on a tube near the old launch.
Kee sims Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 No sir! I wish, unfortunately work had me today. Lol now if that guy was catching big fish then I might claim it to be me!
