Members felixfishing Posted July 7, 2012 Members Posted July 7, 2012 I've been bass fishing Truman the last couple of weeks and it has been tuff. Anybody else doing any bass fishing on Truman?
Members mo4packer Posted July 7, 2012 Members Posted July 7, 2012 I chase the green ones once in a while. We need some CURRENT. They are barley letting any water out according to website. When its this hot with no current makes it tough for me. Only advise is big worm on big timber 10-18 ft.
Members Danfromwindsor Posted July 23, 2012 Members Posted July 23, 2012 Occasionally I might be seen with a largemouth or two :-) They are on their summer pattern which for me is jig, worm or creature bait during the day and early mornings or evenings topwater has been producing a few smaller fish. My bigger fish are coming off a crawdad imitation plastic, pumpkin color with chart tipped claws dragged off the edges of the creek channels where chunk rock is visible on the bank. Ive also had a few on a old Storm Rattlin Shad Rap chrome/blue back cranked off the banks around cover near drop offs.
rumrunner Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 it's tough for me.actually i can catch all the 14 and 3/4 or smaller i want but keepers are tough.rumour has it the big fish are really deep but i can't find them.the first two posts covered the patterns well.
