More Boiled Crappie

Tough day. Fished from CC to Shaw's Bluff today. Water temp had picked up another 1 and 2 degrees. It ran from 88 to 90. Ouch!! We only managed 5 keepers. We noticed that most of the crappie had dropped below the thermocline and the bites were really hard to come by. The few keepers we had were above the thermo at 5 to 10'.

Thanks for the report. Do u think its the heat or u have sore mouth them as much as u fish.LoL i would say not as of how many brush piles u have. Jason and i have talked about following you around one day to find out some of your spots. We are going to need a pic of u. so we no who we are following. I would hate to follow some one and find out it was not u. lol But i got a new name for ya (brush pile). LoL Thanks justin

Yea I all most have the new boat ready.. All I really need is a longer steering cable and fix some holes in the bottom of the boat. LOL them holes are my bad. I drilled to far putting in a brackit to hold my trim pump. I still have to get some oil for my trim pump, new winch, and a diff plug for my trolling motor and thats it and ill be ready to go. I was going to get it all this week but im buying a ak47 from a guy at work so ill have to put it off for a week or two. I have a greater love for fire arms than i do for fishing. They all ways put out, last longer, dont ever talk back and keep me safe when needed but most of all I see fire arms as equity when needed. But it will come soon.

Justin, are you sure you are suppose to use power tools without supervision? lol No wonder you don't catch more fish, that ak47 scares them!!

I will get them one way or another. LOL But I did have a superviser. My wife put my 3 year old little girl in charge of supervision me. We make a hell of a team. Any one want us to work on your boat?? lol Hey jason I started putting my fishing stuff in the boat. I came in for a brake. But i should have all the little stuff done today some time. I think this evening i may pull it out of the dark hole and hook the muffs up and let it run for a min or two to see if i got my RPM tack hooked up right,
