I made it out Friday and Saturday night. Saturday night, the horn down by the boat ramp went off about 11:30pm but apparently it was just a test. I went on to catch 10 on a purple PMS in the next 35 minutes. By then I was convienced the water never came up so I started to wade everywhere I wanted to fish and spent the next three hours fishing just to catch another 10. Many more bites than that, but that was all I landed.

During the daylight hours over the weekend, the crackleback was my best fly.

I met up with a good friend down there I hadn't seen in quite a while.... Nighthawk (Russ). We used to night fish together quite a bit - he had this idea of using 3 English wet flies at once... it worked too without tangling.

He was the only one who showed.. and the only one who fished... as somewhere yesterday I pinched a nerve underneath my right side shoulder blade and decided it was going to be too painful to fish.

I am sure he will let us know how he fared.

You are quite welcome my friend. I am sure you will put the scissors and such into your rotation of tying materials.

Call me anytime you are coming down!
