Members The Kayak Kid Posted July 13, 2012 Members Posted July 13, 2012 Planning a trip for later this month. Spending a couple nights on the river. What's your vote for better fishing? Boiling Spring to Slabtown <or> Slabtown to Ross Also, if anyone has floated from Boiling Spring to Slabtown recently, I'm curious if you did any dragging? Thanks! Gavin Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Its flowing 140cfs or so at Ross...and 160cfs down below the Fort....Should be fine..I'd go Slab to Ross...or fish the Gasconade. Have fun.
UnCivE Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I dunno about the specifics between BS and Slabtown, but I drove by the Big Piney the day before yesterday and it looked a lot better than the gasconade does right now. I wouldn't be worried at all in a kayak.
KCRIVERRAT Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Slabtown to Ross hands down. Anything involving Mason Bridge revolves around long, slow water. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
