Quillback Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Yes there are smallies, best area for them is on the lower lake near the dam, but you can get some mid-lake also.
Members dbaltz Posted July 24, 2012 Members Posted July 24, 2012 Went to watch my wife's uncle in the FLW weigh in one year and a 3rd of the fish were smallies. The state record smallie is out of bullshoals tipping the scales over 7lbs.
