Ok, so i watched craigslist and happen to see n ad for a flea market with pictures of the booth.i could see a few items in uthe pictures that looked like they could have been mine so went to check it out. Wife and i walked in the booth, first thing my wife sees are both the kids poles, my tckle bag, and was also there, along with the cricket cage and my grandpas knife. I have talked to the dealer and he bought the stuff from a guy who ran an add on cl, and he said he had more stuff he had bougt from tje guy at the same time at his house and would meet me at the flea market with that stuff to hsee if it was mine, he had one of the ultralights and had already sold the other, he had one of the baitcast reels but it had been put on a difernt rod before he bought it, he also had the rod the other baitcast was on, but not the reel, he also had two other reels that were not mine. He was also able to provide a description of the guy he bought it from, aswell as what he drove, and some other info about the guy that hshould lead the sheriff dectives right to him. Now just waiting on the sheriffs office so i can actually get my stuff back, wixh by th way the dealer is willling to let me have it back, and has been very helpfull and coropritve

It's great that you found some of your stuff, hope in the end you get it back and the scum back gets what he deserves Free room & board for a while.

hmmm, something smells fishy,

the guy who stole your gear could be on the flea market owners payroll

he probably steals stuff to sell at that flea market

I bet they know each other very well.

sometimes you don't get your stuff back when you get the law involved,, they just keep it forever as evidence like they did my gear... just saying.

hope it all ends well :)

its funny you say that you don't get your stuff back when you get the law involved, the guy (Keith Clark from Peculiar, MO) that took our boats out of slips at TR and had a warehouse full of fishing equipment that some guys in club claimed have never got a call about their equipment. I heard that he got off scot-free on one of the many charges against him. Never heard what happened to the rest of the charges or the warehouse of equipment?
