Roaring River To Hold Kids' Fishing Day

CASSVILLE, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation and The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host the second Kids Fishing Day of 2012 on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Roaring River State Park. Fishing starts at 7 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. The park is located on Missouri Highway112 about seven miles south of Cassville.

The above was for the spring kids day, it should be a great day on sat aug 18th, kids day is always a good time.

Going to be a lot of prizes given away at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th of aug.

Going to be hot dogs and soda also till all is gone.

Going to be a lot of classes on cleaning fish to catching fish.

Bring the kids down, under 16 fish for free, over 16, you can help and enjoy

the art of volenteer work.

MAKO will be there tying flies, so come down and at least give them a hard time if

nothing else

More help is always needed, baiting hooks tying hooks on, putting line on reels and just helping the

kids catch fish, if you can help call the hatchery at Roaring River
