I cleared the marina buoys this morning as soon as I could see and be seen. I had a hoodie on for the chill. I ran down lake with the intention of jigging the points at Owl Creek. Both were occupied. :slow: I ran on over to Rock Creek to find another boat trolling the area I had planned to fish. This later sunrise means more people are getting the jump on me.

After the troller passed I slid in and jigged the reef for three hours. White War Eagle spoon in 29 to 33 feet of water. Multiple small bass, one large bluegill, and three walleye. Two were legal. By then the water pests were out and I went back.

Go up lake from Big M to the mouth of Rock Creek. The point defined by the danger buoy actually is a big J. Vertical jig the edges with either a jigging spoon or a jig with crawler or jig with minnow.

Did real well at the mouth of Roaring River with a tiny torpedo catching a lot of 14 inchers but no keepers. Then they started to chase the balls of shad out in about 20 - 26 ft of water. Caught them on a pop r and a crank bait. Still no keepers. When that bite stopped I started fishing a jig around docks and lay downs and stumps. Lost a realy nice one on the first jig bite. It wrapped me on the stupid cross bar of a boat slip. I had quite a few on the jig but all were close but no cigar on the keeper part of it.
