Brian K. Shaffer Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Wow is right! That a bohemoth mamma jamma bluegill for goodness sakes. Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
drew03cmc Posted September 9, 2012 Author Posted September 9, 2012 I want to hook one on a 4wt...that would be a blast! Andy
Tim Smith Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 They love to stock those in Illinois but they never seem to get as beefy as they do in the heat of the south. Freakish redear. Sunfish always look so bizarre when they get that big.
Quillback Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Wow, I've seen some that would go 1.5 lbs, which are huge, but over 5 lbs. is amazing. Looks as if he probably kept it, which is his right, but it looks healthy and it makes me wonder if released how much more growth potential there was.
