Just Before Dark (Sept. 8Th)

I fished about and hour and a half just before dark last night and did great for me. Had 2 keepers and 5 short ones. I fished one of the islands out in the dam area and fished shallow with a Pigsticker 3/8oz football jig. All Smallmouth and they were between two and 10 feet of water. The two keepers were in about 4 foot of water and hit the jig as soon as it hit the water.
