ollie Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Yea!!! there is water in the creek now! Water was looking good today. I fished 3 hours this morning and caught 2, had 2 on and lost them, and caught some goggle eyes and chubs to round it out. Cloudy out all morning, but humid. Thought it might start raining on me at some point, but it didn't. Nothing really to talk about other than there is water now! Hopefully they will stock sometime soon. I caught mine on an olive/tan jig. Also had the place to myself today, that in inself is something great! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Members Tommy Neil Posted September 17, 2012 Members Posted September 17, 2012 I went to Capps creek later in the day. Several worm fishers around darn. I caught one nice trout and turned it loose. Water looks much better than last time I was there.
