Looks like we've narrowed down our trip on October to Bull Shoals and most likely the lower parts. Now we just need to find a place to stay and a place to rent boats (hopefully the same place). We've found a few that we like since we are wanting a bass type boat (larger engine, finder, trolling motor etc) instead of a Jon with a small motor. Trying to keep our costs around $200/ea for lodging and the boat fee (minus gas)

Any suggestions?

When I go with the guys, we stay at Fish Un Time Resort. Never rented a boat there though. When we take the wives, we stay at Black Oak Resort, but I dont know if its within your price range. Ill be down there Saturday for a week.

Yeah, Fish-Un-Time was on our list since they have a "loaded" 20' Lowe fishing boat, but it rents for $200/day which would mean we would have to sleep in the car. Heh...

We've narrowed it down, we think, to Tall TImbers resort that has a 17' Sea Nymph bass boat and Oakland Marina Inn that has a 17' Smoker Craft bass boat.
