MTM Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Poor animal. They did him a favor by putting him out if it. I would not eat that meat either. I have seen other pictures of deer like that but have never seen one in real life even having guided for deer and Elk for better than 30 years. Seen some weird things but never an animal like that. I wounder what it is that does that? Ron
SKMO Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 It is called "cutaneous fibroma" and it is not uncommon for deer to have a small one or two. SKMO "A True Fisherman with a Rod in His hand, and a Tug on the Line, would not Trade His Position for the Throne of Any King"
Randall Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 okay, but what would cause it to get like that? Cute animals taste better.
