Huge Discount On Lamson Konic And Tfo Pro Series Rods

Cabelas in Kansas City has Lamson 3.5 (7/8) and 4 (9/10) Konics for $69.21 and $79.21. I just purchased one for an 8 wt. This is about 25% less than the sale price on their website.

Also, Bass Pro in KC is closing out 1st generation TFO pro series for $85 starting Wednesday. They are going to have 8'6" 5wts, 9' 6wts, and 9' 8wts. I called them to see if they will actually have 8wts and the guy told me they actually have plenty of all 3 lengths/weights

That is a good deal and I love Lamson reels...That being said I've got one of the Konic 4's , bought it for a 10 wt musky rod, that thing feels like you strapped a brick on your rod! the smaller ones are fine but the larger sizes are a little heavy for my liking.

I bought 5 on wednesday... and have one of the 8's headed my way on Christmas morning. I casted the five last night and it's a spiffy little rod for the price.
