Any News On Lake Springfield?

and wow they are biting like crazy.... caught over 50 bass today and 1 crappie. was a great morning at least.

what were you using for bait and where at on the lake were fishing? main lake or up towards the 65 bridge?

right offshore by the power site area. using a 6 inch blue and black worm off the bottom, just bouncing it very very very slowly.

what time of day were you fishing?

once from 9 am till 2 or 4 pm till 6pm. it really doesn't matter what time they bite like crazy then they stop for 10 mins then the bite is back on again.

are you fishing into the warm water pool or towards the main lake?

went out on the Kayak for a couple of hours on sunday. I put in around the boathouse/marina and just floated around the area. Had two hit a spook jr hard just couldnt get the hook set. other than that really didnt have much action
