Tying Video -- Rich Strolis's Bloodied Baitfish

Hey guys,

The second video in the Rich Strolis Series is his Bloodied Baitfish. Now and then I will back off and throw a single-hook streamer in the mix just to change it up, but I really do believe that, with the explosion of articulated streamers in the last few years that a solid single hooked streamer is overlooked FAR too often. This pattern fits the bill for 90% of the baitfish in most streams, color combinations are limitless so tie them to suit your local baitfish or go with attractor colors, you can't go wrong.

Recipe:

Hook - 4x long down eye streamer

Tail - Marabou over Ice Dub

Wing - Rabbit Strip

Body - Flat Diamond Braid

Rib - Red Wire

Throat - Ice Dub

Eyes - Clear Cure Dumbell Eyes

For sure. Not the targeted species, but we do catch plenty of rainbows on big streamers.
