gonefishin Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Russ: Have you looked at the SunLite trailers. They are kind of a combo hardside/popup. I had one until recently; they are really nice. Not as heavy as traditional hardsieds, easier to pull, easy to manauver. I had mine for 14 years and never had a leak. Click Here I would rather be fishin'. MTM Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 The one that leaked on us was an old one. We stayed in it on the BigHole River some years ago. It was old and very well used. Don't make me swear to this but I think it was one of the first Coleman's? Anyway the sides leaked if you touched them same as a canvas tent does. Maybe the newer ones are made out of a material that is much better now days. I just like the trailers better. When it is blowing hard and the rain is up they are a lot nicer. And the main thing is you can lock them up and not worry so much. Just my opinion. Ron
Rusty Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 My better half just asked "which one has the biggest bathroom"? Guess which one I will be getting? I do appreciate all the replies. I guess I should have told her about the bathroom situation. Never crossed my mind. Tree's, for nature calling, and sinks for bath's, work for me.
Rusty Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Hey Russ, I don't know how to fly fish with the waders and stuff. I think I need a coach! Can you help with that? Thinking Thanksgiving weekend if the weather is good! Dave, It would be like the blind leading the blind. But, if you have never done it, I would be happy to show you what I know. Keep in mind, bad habits are easy to teach as well. See if you can make it the weekend of Nov. 10-12. Will be there then, no sure about Thanksgiving weekend.
